Health Tip Of The Week

How to pick a moisturizer

The best one for you depends on many factors, including your skin type, your age and whether you have specific conditions, such as acne. If you have normal skin, it's generally best to go with a water-based moisturizer with a light, nongreasy feel. For dry skin, choose an oil-based moisturizer that contains urea or propylene glycol, chemicals that keep your skin moist. Have oily skin? Opt for an oil-free, water-based product labeled 'noncomedogenic,' which means it won't clog your pores.
