Manual Testing

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Manual Testing for assigned projects.
  • Develop and execute test plans and cases to validate business requirements.
  • Ensure timely project deliveries as per release plan.
  • Take & implement initiatives for test process improvements and quality of work.
  • Participate in meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and processes.
  • Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor.
  • Review work and deliverables with reporting supervisor.
  • Build a relationship with project stakeholders/business partners


Eligibility Criteria's:

  • Years of Experience: 1.5 – 2.9 Years.
  • Educational Qualifications: B.Tech./MCA/Graduation (Minimum 15 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant).
  • Proficient in different kind of Testing - Black box.
  • Good knowledge of Sql query creation, execution and result verification.
  • Plans, writes, develops, executes & verifies test cases.
  • Good knowledge of testing tools like Test Director/Quality Centre is preferable.
  • Should be able to work independently and act proactively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Lead Manual Testing and Automation Testing teams and projects.
  • Ensure timely project deliveries (milestones and deliverables).
  • Coordinate and communicate with client/onshore team for project related matters.
  • Participate in estimation process for testing projects.
  • Attend and drive meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings.
  • Disseminate Business Knowledge; Provide or organize trainings.
  • Provide and organize trainings as necessary.
  • Plan and execute Knowledge Transition for the application domain.
  • Review deliverables and ensure Quality of deliverables.
  • Report project status/issues to project manager.
  • Lead the team; should be able to take care of all aspects of project with minimal support.
  • Carry our team administration functions;
  • Manage resource time and tasks on day-to-day basis.
  • Be creative and innovative to improve efficiency and quality of work.
  • Contribute additional effort in organization building.
  • Escalate the issues to the business partners/stakeholders pro-actively.


Qualifications:

  • 6 – 8years of strong experience in Manual Testing
  • Mandate experience in AGILE methodology
  • Good experience on Testing tools like Test Director/Quality Centre.
  • Good knowledge of Sql query creation, execution and result verification.
  • Strong knowledge of systems development and testing life cycle
  • Should be able to lead meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings.
  • Proven track record of coaching/ mentoring.
  • Ability to drive teams to deliver high quality deliverables.
  • Experience in complex, cross-departmental projects involving multiple platforms.
  • Ability to Create effort/duration estimates and deliverable lists for proposed projects.
  • Should be capable to work independently in a global project, recommend and develop solutions.
  • Good knowledge/understanding of best testing practices followed in the industry.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
